To the Editor I read with great interest the recent paper by Henrotin et al on evidence for the role of short-term exposure to ozone on ischaemic cerebral and cardiac events from the Dijon Vascular Project.1 The paper addressed the analysis procedure and considerations and presented findings on the relationship between air pollution and ischaemic cerebral and cardiac events in a large population-based setting.
