GW24-e0032 Study of protection of healthy subjects with Tibetan high-altitude exposure on fibrinolytic system

Abstract

Objectives To investigate the changes of fibrinolytic system of healthy subjects with acute high altitude exposure (3 658 m above sea leve1).

Methods A total of 50 young male subjects were enrolled in this study. They were all newly engaged army members recruited from Sichuan province (400 m above sea leve1). The serum levels of prothrombin time (PT), thrombin time (TT), activated partial thromboplastin time (APTT), fibrinogen (Fg), plasminogen (Plg), plasmin inhibitor, D-dimer (DD) were measured before and 3 days after ascending high-altitude

Results After acute high-altitude, PT, TT, APTT, DD increased and FIB, Pig, plasmin inhibitor decreased (P < 0.05).

Conclusions The fihrinolytie system greatly changed in healthy subjects with acute high-altitude exposure.
