A not so typical pericardial effusion case….

We have read with interest the article by Miranda and co-authors,1 in which a case of effusive-constrictive pericarditis is presented. This is a comprehensive and educational case that provides cardiologists with a valuable message. Some points, however, require additional clarification in order to further strengthen the impact of this case.
