    Many trials have excluded patients with CKD, and their treatment was extrapolated from non-CKD cohorts.26 The findings from TACTICS-TIMI 18 and FRISC II trials demonstrated that compared with conservative treatment, early invasive treatment reduced death and rates of myocardial infarction in CKD patients with unstable CAD.27,28 Keeley et al. concluded that long-term survival was significantly better in patients with eGFRs <60 mL/min 1.73 m2 during the treatment of acute coronary syndrome (ACS) by PCI, rather than conservative treatment.2
