You should consider the following items before you submit:
- Cover letter
- Manuscript file including tables in situ
- Abstract (must also be in manuscript file)
- Word count
- Figure files (jpeg, tiff, gif, eps, PowerPoint)
- Charges for colour images
- Supplementary files (video, appendices, etc)
- Patient consent
- Ethics committee approval
- Competing interests
- Authors' consent to publication (copyright)
- Suggested reviewers

If you are submitting a commissioned article please submit from the Bench>Press queue: Commissions - papers to be submitted and not as an original submission.
If you are submitting a revision please submit from the Bench>Press queue: Submit a revisions and not as an original submission.
