A novel ECG parameter for diagnosis of acute pulmonary embolism: RS time: RS time in acute pulmonary embolism
2019, American Journal of Emergency MedicineDiagnostic value of QRS and S wave variation in patients with suspicion of acute pulmonary embolism
2018, American Journal of Emergency MedicineCitation Excerpt :Inspiratory increase in venous return to RV may cause a decrease in RV performance, QRS voltage, and systolic tissue Doppler velocity. Based on our observations, we conclude that QRS variation can result from variation of the S wave, which is augmented in D1, D2, D3, AVF, V4, V5, and V6 in the case of APE [5,11,12]. Also, in the case report authored by Siniorakis E et al., QRS variation was the most obvious in D1 lead, and examination of the ECG revealed that variation mainly occurred in the S wave [17].
