The degree of calcification within the totally occluded segment provides useful information regarding the likelihood of success if percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI) of a chronic total occlusion is attempted. There is extensive evidence that evaluation of coronary bypass grafts by coronary CTA is highly accurate in predicting the findings on ICA.74–78 The location and anastomoses of bypass grafts should be described in addition to the location and severity of stenoses.
