Abstract

In this case report, we describe the example of an ICD inappropriate shocks. These inappropriate shocks were induced by atrial fibrillation with a high ventricular rate. The first message transmitted by the home-monitoring preceded the first shocks. Use of home-monitoring permits explanations for these inappropriate shocks. Home-monitoring will also be used for the follow-up of these patients for the prevention of other shocks associated with atrial fibrillation.
