Abstract
Objective For the Post-operative patients, Delirium (POD)has correlations with the short-term and long-term prognosis, its epidemiology in china permanent pacemaker implantation patients is not yet reported. So we want to seek the risk factors for delirium among permanent pacemaker implantation patients.
Design Retrospective study. Method and Statistics: look for the permanent pacemaker implantation patients from April 2008 to April 2014, 900 in total, we enrolled 773, make them into two groups depending on suffered from delirium or not. Using logistic regression and T-test analysis the data to find the risk factors for delirium.
Result After adjustment the mixed factors, the difference of age, weight, wards and Antimicrobial type are statistically significantly in two groups.
Conclusion Although permanent pacemaker implantation is a minimally invasive surgery, POD rate is 8.28%, which requires us pay much attentions in the clinical work.
