To the editor: We read with great interest the article by Khunti and colleagues reporting on a cluster randomised controlled trial evaluating a nurse-led disease management programme for secondary prevention of coronary heart disease and heart failure in primary care.1 The authors should be commended for their large trial with 1316 patients from 20 primary care practices.
