To the Editor: We read with great interest the article from Hetherington et al1 regarding a single-centre experience of trans-radial primary percutaneous coronary intervention (PCI). Authors discovered a lower (although not statistically significant) in-hospital mortality rate and lower major cardiac or cerebrovascular adverse events with this technique, compared with those with the standard trans-femoral route.
