The Authors' reply Our review on the subject of long-term outcome after catheter ablation of atrial fibrillation (AF) in Heart focused primarily on safety, efficacy and impact on prognosis.1 Hence, we are pleased to see the debate is moving from whether catheter ablation of AF works to whether it is cost-effective.2
