Abstract

The excellent paper by Werkhoven et. al. which prompted this editorial compares ct angiography of the coronary arteries with mri perfusion imaging and cardiac catheterization.

In the cases where discrepancies between angiographic lesion severity and perfusion findings occur, questions arise as to the adequacy of the intellectual model of coronary flow and prompt further investigation.
