After angiography, which showed multiple lobulated and well-defined filling defects in the right ventricular outflow tract, endomyocardial biopsy disclosed infiltration of the myocardium by a poorly differentiated malignant neoplasm. At necropsy he was found to have a small intestinal lymphoma.
