AB A patient with a functioning intrapericardial paraganglioma (pheochromocytoma) that was located at the root of the aorta overlying the right coronary artery and adherent to the right ventricular wall is reported. The tumour was successfully removed under total cardiopulmonary bypass without inducing cardiac arrest.
