  • ▸ Congenital cardiovascular conditions not previously seen in one’s practice

  • ▸ Conditions sufficiently unfamiliar that the practitioner should consult a textbook or colleague

  • ▸ Adult congenital cardiovascular patients:

  • – ulmonary hypertension

  • –with poor functional class

  • –who are pregnant or considering becoming so

  • –who are cyanotic

  • –who may have inherited conditions (e.g. CATCH-22)

  • –with transposition, coarctation, moderate or severe pulmonary valve disorders, and conduits

  • –Senning

  • –Rastelli

  • –Jatene (arterial switch)

  • –Fontan

  • –Fallot

  • –Ebstein

  • –Eisenmenger

  • –Marfan

  • –Holt-Oram
