From the experimental results, it was very clear that the hydrocolloids containing cobalt nanoparticles simulated the formation of vasculature and embryonic development by angiogenic stimulation [32]. The cumulative leaching effect of cobalt and aloe mucilage from the hydrocolloidal matrix to the CAM membrane significantly elicited stronger angiogenic response with prominent blood capillary branching since cobalt was proven to be a potential angiogenic stimulator which also exhibited a significant concentration dependent angiogenic response when treated with CAM [33].
