2022, American Heart JournalClinical characteristics and risk factors for fatal outcome of patients receiving Sun's procedure after previous cardiac surgery
2021, Asian Journal of SurgeryCitation Excerpt :Sun's procedure can decrease the mortality rate of the arch operation and facilitate the long-term re-thoracic aortic replacement surgery. Some major heart centers abroad reported6,7 that the main reasons for aortic reoperation included planned reoperation, aneurysm resulting from the re-expansion of the proximal or distal artery of the surgical site, anastomotic leakage, new aortic dissection, and infection of artificial blood vessels. However, few researches on aortic reoperation has been reported in China.
