Covered stent to treat co-existent coarctation and aneurysm of the aorta in a young man

A 23 year old man presented with hypertension and clinical, electrocardiographic, echocardiographic, and radiographic features of coarctation. Aortography delineated the coarctation (gradient 40 mm Hg) and a spherical aneurysm 3 cm across, originating at the coarctation.
