Abstract
Objective To investigate the risk factors of recurrence 3 days after radiofrequency catheter ablation of paroxysmal atrial fibrillation.
Methods 147 patients with paroxysmal atrial fibrillation received radiofrequency catheter ablation (RFCA) were consecutively enrolled from January 1st 2012 to July 31st 2014, these patients received a 3 days remote heart monitor after the procedure, and according to the monitor recording, these patients were divided into atrial fibrillation recurrence (Af) group and non-atrial fibrillation recurrence (NAf) group, and Af group patients were then divided into subgroup according to the recurrence duration, risk factors were then explored.
Results 23 patients (15.56%) were enrolled in Af group, duration, hypertension, hsCRP, LVEF and ablation technique were identified as risk factors. Logistic regression analyses reveals duration, hypertension, hsCRP, LVEF and ablation technique are independent risk factors of recurrence after the procedure, subgroup study reveals that duration, hypertension and ablation technique are associated with the recurrence time length.
Conclusion Duration , hypertension, hsCRP, LVEF and ablation technique are independent risk factors of recurrence after the procedure, subgroup study reveals that duration, hypertension and ablation technique are associated with the recurrence time length.
